I'm pretty sure he will realize what he has done and feel disgusted by it. 

 

At 13 we all knew raping a 8 year old girl is bad, very bad.

There are some crimes we can ignore like stealing or recreational drug use. But rape is a big deal.

I know it's not a minor thing.
Doesn't mean this kid is going to grow up a rapist.
