That there will be more games on PS4 than on PS2 is far from certain.
The pre-HD fidelity of games for the PS2 made it cheaper to develop for and that it had no competitor even come close to its sales numbers resulted in upwards of 4000 games released. By comparison, the PS3 is under a thousand titles and the 360 is just over. That we now have indies might result in more games on that end of the market, but in general, we have fewer game releases from every other segment of the market because of the cost of development and the emphasis on AAA.
That the PS4 would get a 6:1 ratio, like the PS2 did, on its nearest competitor is laughable.
The assumption that the PS4 has won this generation is also laughable. I am not saying that it will definitely not happen, but it is still early days yet. Every generation has been different, with different factors and events playing a part. For the most recent PS360 generation, factors like Kinect, Netflix compatibility, apps, most of the classic games of the generation, and so on were unheard of or still unreleased at this point after launch.
