What does the PS4 need to become even better than the king?

This an honest question. Why do you guys like the PS2 so much? It was the wii of its gen. In my eyes the console was an unreliable piece of shit and completely inferior to its competitors. Gamecube was the console to own if you wanted to play the best exclusives that gen. You have to be j rpg only gamer to call the PS2 king. I don't understand how people can bashthe wii and wii U but praise the ps2. PS3 already surpassed the PS2 and completely changed sonys reputation as far as quality consoles go. The PS4 will do the same.
