I thought it was 30. Either way though, this isn't a day one purchase now unless there's a ton of other content with it. I'd pay $20 max, and that's just because I love MGS.

If you get it on current gen, it's $20 digital, $30 physical.
It's certainly short, but quite honestly I have no problem with it being that way due to the discount. Metal Gear Rising, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, and Pikmin 3 were all roughly 8 hour games that released this year for $60. If the side missions contribute two or so hours of gameplay, that'd make it 4 hours of gameplay for $20-$30, which isn't bad by any means.

Hmm, it took me 30 hours to beat pikmin 3, getting every piece of fruit..... Guess I'm slow, but I felt the game was very large and long...(that didn't sound right).....

...really? 30 hours? On a single play through?
Each day is only what...13 minutes long, I think? Something close to that? I don't think there's even enough fruit in the entire game to support a 30 hour playthrough.
On multiple playthroughs, certainly you can get a combined 30 hours, sure, but the same argument could be made for this game too. You can probably put 15 or so hours into Ground Zeroes on multiple playthroughs, completing the various difficulties and going for achievements.
