It was fun to see all the pre-rendered games back then. I remember Resident Evil 3, the enviroments were amazing for the time, but it looks like PS2-levek graphics just turned that technic obsolete. About the magic, maybe Internet killed it a bit. Back then, access to information was harder, so you really didn't knew how it was done. Today, it's all just a Google away.

You are so right! Which is why I stay away from any media from the games I really want to play, like Last of Us, Beyond and now South Park and Evil Whiting, I want to be surprised and see stuff for the first time when I am playing!
