I must not lurk hard enough, because I didn't know about that fact or that it garnered any attention.  That feels like a small amount of gameplay for a 3D Mario though. I could see how people would be disappointed. 

No your right, I confused the melt downs with Neo Gaf.

Only happened here for a few days, was there that ppl were freaking out for weeks over it.

But the 8 hours are if you rush to the final bout with Bowser.  Not counting the 4 special worlds + collectables.  I'm at 36 hours and I just got to the final special world.
