It was fun to see all the pre-rendered games back then. I remember Resident Evil 3, the enviroments were amazing for the time, but it looks like PS2-levek graphics just turned that technic obsolete. About the magic, maybe Internet killed it a bit. Back then, access to information was harder, so you really didn't knew how it was done. Today, it's all just a Google away.
