I don't think this automatically applies anymore.
Look at Mass Effect 2 and 3. Both landed on EA's watch, both were absolutely world class.

To be honest, EA gets shadier and shadier every year. ME2 came out in 2010 and ME3 in 2012 ( and ME3 was much shadier than ME2 in terms of DLC).

Thats true, their business practices can be appalling.
I guess what I am saying is that they have demonstrated they are capable of fostering fantastic quality games - even though they often wrap them in nefarious costings and payment/authorisation options.
In addition to ME3 there was all its DLC. Whilst overpriced, it was some of the best DLC any game has ever gotten.
