Not sure about the Kinect 2.0 with PC. Im sure they will enable that down the line. Or some user will bring a mod patch to do it. Maybe you could try and get a cheap copy of W8 somewhere and dual boot your PC? Depends on how cheap though I guess. :)

I actually tried a few weeks ago to see if my old Microsoft student account was still active.  That's how I got W7 and a ton of other software free.  They'd closed it down, though.  Bastards!  I'm not opposed to W8.1, it's just that I have no real reason to upgrade.  The OEM on Newegg is $100 and that's not even Pro.  It's just not worth it to me.

A new PC is probably a long ways off for me, I just got a new GPU after all, but I'll probably look into Project Spark then.  It should have a ton of user-created content by that point, anyway.

Oh yeah. If you havent jumped before then, there will be loads of content for you rigt off the bat. Hopefully W8 upgrade goes down in price before then for you.
