I'm not buying it.  Not until they do something about the facts that it's overpriced and underpowered.  Heck, if Titanfall ( and other MS / PC clones ) were my primary reasons to get Xbone.  I would wait 'til September.  And buy the more powerful spiffy new AlienWare Steam Machine for the same price as Xbone, Windows for $50.00, and then get the definitive PC version of Titanfall if I knew it was never coming to PS4 and I had to have it.

Did you buy ps1 and ps2? N64 - psx was  much bigger power gap than ps4 - xbox one. Also ps2 was the weakest console. Yet both those consoles outsold their superior hardware consoles.

Price doesnt matter across an entire gen. It only matters at launch. And back then you didnt get value for money with family members having kinect included. We can do this dance all day long.

Excactly. And until a readily available One starts outselling a supply constrained PS4 youll be dancing by yourself. Nobody cares about "added value" Look no further than last gen. BD, Cell, Media Capabilities it didnt matter it was games and performace of said games that carried the 360 passed the PS3, and deservedly so. Its painful how some people just cant step back and see that its a mirror image of last gen through and through. I mean its eerily similar. Last gen it was "well if you account for online cost for Gold, subtract BD then the PS3 is cheaper" it was bullshit then, and its bullshit now with people citing Kinect, DVR, "cloud". Granted theres the marketing and word of mouth that also benefitted the 360 last gen and now the PS4.

On topic. Game looks good. To the user who pointed out an online only game releasing a year or 2 after the fact is pointless is spot on. I think this isnt being discussed enough in regards to the exclusivity or potential for timed exclusivity. If this game doesnt come out or isnt announced to be coming to PS4 this fall at some point (E3) then it never will nor should just based on the premise and concept of the game.

I could see this moving systems (if it was released in 2 years) but systems dont move in a vacuum. I mean, if youre considering buying a One for this game then whats stopping you now? Why wait for 3 weeks until its release when you can go anywhere and get a system and start enjoying it immediately? Early gen system sellers are so few and far between. You dont have the extra catalogue to convince a non system owner to pull the trigger. Later in the gen, especially new IP's become system sellers because if someone doesnt own the system they look and say "wow im really interested in this new game but why should I spend $300-500 on the system just to play it? Oh, Halo is out, Gears of War is out, New Fable is out or coming out, sign me up" But at this point there is nothing other than whats been available and the system has been available as well, leading me to believe that Titanfall, while promising, will by no means shift systems.
