Easily the most profitable platform for developers for a long time to come as the new consoles have tiny install bases, which should translate into games with any luck.

Hopefully this leads to Japanese publishers pushing forth releases of Japanese games to PC as well. Even if they are legacy/old titles :P.

I wouldnt mind double, triple or even quad dipping on some of the games I have :P!

Same, you can't have to many Japanese games! Thankfully Namco has seen the light and started to support the PC more, hopefully it pays off so other developers take notice.

From someone who works in gaming retail I can definitly tell you there are a LOT of gamers switching over to PC.

 

You have to give Valve some props cause Steam is a big part of why

Yeah, my PC build and upgrade orders are getting more frequent this year already.

I think the PC has reached a point where we aren't classed as dirty filthy stealing pirates anymore, but real dollar signs.
Valve/Steam has actually successfully competed against a free model and won and that was purely via consolidation and convenience and good will to gamers, they did well, which was in stark contrast to other developers hating and ignoring the PC like Ubisoft. (Calling 93-95% of PC gamers pirates.)
