I was born in the same city the Children of Bodom are from, but my family moved away in less than a year and I don't really identify with the place.
I lived most of my life in Kuopio, which is home to a lot of famous Finns like Spede Pasanen, Hannes Kolehmainen, Lasse Lehtinen, Paavo Lipponen, Johan Vilhelm Snellman, Martti Ahtisaari, Minna Canth, and the beardy guy in Nightwish.
For the last few years I've been studying at Jyväskylä. The only notables I could find are Matti Nykänen, Alvar Aalto, and Matti Vanhanen.
No, I don't expect anyone to recognize any of these people, although everyone really should check out Nykänen's entry on WikiQuote. =P
