well... heat and light have a lot to do with re5 dont they?
if your out in the sun you get hot or tired or heatstroke or something...and maybe blackout?
i cant really remember.
Also, i imagine a really bright outside area will have really dark shoadowed areas (as in the pic you posted) with lots of little zombies hiding out.
