My favourite is Black. Still feels modern enough and is a lot of fun. Be warned, though - if you buy a European copy, the game is massively censored to the point where the game doesn't make any sense because so many cutscenes have been cut. I had to watch on youtube to get the full picture.

3 & 4 are supposedly trash. We got neither of them in Europe.

The new Twisted Metal is alright, but don't play it for the single player. If you intend to play split-screen or online, however, then it is absolutely tonnes of fun (now that they've fixed the online issues, at least).


I always thought that Twisted Metal 2 was just the best on PS1 and the most popular overall
