A epic failure probably, it will be hilarious to see MS try to pull a wii next gen.

They are a software corp that just cant make hardware worth a damn, why not just make games for everyone else.

Just imagine all the game devs thay could have aquired for all their hardware costs. 

MSFT already tried before development of Project DirectX-box (ie Xbox) in 1999-2000 timeframe to make the platform for use by other hardware companies sort of like a 3DO biz model.  So I do not think that they would try that again esp w/ Live's success.
