Girl, 12, charged with selling marijuana to 11-year-old at Alta. school

Published Thursday March 13th, 2008HIGH LEVEL, Alta. - Mounties in a northern Alberta town have charged a 12-year-old girl with trafficking.
RCMP in High Level allege the girl sold marijuana to another girl, aged 11, in a class at school. Police say the seized the substance and charged the girl.
The 12-year-old girl, who can't be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear in court sometime in April.
High Level is about 800 kilometres northwest on Edmonton and has a population of just over 4,000.
