No. Single-player games are what keep me gaming. Multiplayer games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros. are a blast, but those are more "supplementary" as far as my gaming interests are concerned. Games like Zelda, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, 3D Mario, Pokemon, etc. are what keep me gaming. Single-player should always come first, and then in those games, if they happen to include a compelling multiplayer mode/option then that's great too, but NEVER at the expense of the single-player. Certain games like Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Call of Duty, etc., that are BUILT for their multiplayer are the only ones where I'm okay with that being the focus.
