There has to be a reason though. Even if it's not a good one. It's not like they got up one day and said "oh we are cool , because we are blonde and have blue eyes."

It's because the Romans and such usually had blonde hair and blue eyes, its only through later racial mingling that different colours became more common I think. Therefore they probably think blonde hair and blue eyes is more 'pure'.

Yeah just like harry potter. Well I guess people didn't portray the blonde hair and blue eyes well in movies and textbooks , because most romans I've seen in them look more of a brown especially the woman. I would also think they would be darker , because of the melanin that they recieve from not having a long winter. I don't think aryans or h/e you spell it came from rome , but rather than northern asia ( around russia). I also read in wikipedia that they were beileved to be the race that inhabitated atlantis and superior to all others. Like some type of elder race.
