I'm completely ok with multiplayer. The problem starts when developers start to merge both single and multiplayer eliminating the choice for the player. That seems to be a trend that is still going. When I play singleplayer I want to be alone in this world and not some players invading my game, be it actively or just by messages.
Thy should both be strictly separated.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
