Hell no... Without Single player taking the front seat, we wouldn't have games like Mario 3d world, The Last of Us, Xenoblade, Ni No Kuni and etc... Single Player should always be the main focus with multiplayer being the long term value of the game... Not multiplayer being everything, in some special cases, multiplayer only is fine but in most cases, no thanks. If I am ever out and I want to play games on my laptop/3ds/phone with potentially no wifi around, I would want to play an awesome single player game
