No that I agree with you about the Halo franshise, but I love the analogy ahah :)

I honestly LOVED Halo. It'll always be my favorite FPS ever. The story, universe, MP...untouchable. So it's painful to watch a billion dollar corporation like MS hire a bunch of random people, stand behind them with a figuritive whip, and churn out "product" with the Halo name on it every year like this.

Like you I love the Halo universe. I have all the books, the Halo Legends comics are awesome. And it does not bother me that much to have some spinoff and alternate story games coming out more often :) But I can definitly understand it may be bothering for other fans.
