The only thing I can think of, if this was intentional, is they wanted to weed out CBOAT. Maybe have a guy posting real info, while leaving something out that CBOAT was told, so CBOAT would post it himself. Kinda goes with the "played like a fiddle" the other insider posted in CBOAT's thread. Even if it wasn't from MS, it seems one of their employees went rogue and got tired of CBOAT leaking negative info about the One. Either way, it makes Xbox fans constant ridiculing of CBOAT as being full of bullshit seem a little pathetic now, as someone (either MS or an employee) felt his info was damning enough to hurt the One's brand/sales.
All I know is this post has got me real curious about NPD for Jan. Cause if what he says is true, that the first two weeks of sales were low, what does the whole month look like when Sony seems to have gotten large shipments out in the final two weeks?
