It's not really fair to say Sony is making a mistake by not paying developers to make their games exclusives. PS4 is selling A LOT more than the competition,

"Pitch your ideas to Sony for the next handheld concept."

I didn't realize that the PS4 was a handheld system.

While my second post did point out that as a console the PS3 could have succeeded early on rather than later, the point was that a system no one wants, the Vita, was in dire need of support and it got none.  If it received an exclusive GTA or Final Fantasy, sales would probably have been very different and third party developers would probably have tried to focus more on the system.

It would have benefited both Sony and gamers, but instead, Sony seems to not care and is just letting the system die.  Kind of pisses me off with their lack of respect for the seven million people who already bought the system, myself included.

Oh, I had the impression you were saying they should buy exclusives for the PS4.

Well, the Vita's problem lies in its philosophy, imo. It was doomed the moment it was conceived. Not to mention, Sony has absolutely nothing to compete with Pokemon, that pretty much gives Nintendo instant win on the handheld department.
