I'd say yes and medium-progressive strategy, and Nintendo must focus more on its objectives and start a better marketing that make things clear to all its potential users. Red Ocean risky? Not riskier than letting both blue and red ocean sides of Wii U rot like now, even clumsy reactions like Sony's horrible price for PSV Lite in UK would be better than letting all slowly fade away. And just for its design, Wii U needs both red and blue, its Wii BC and name itself wouldn't make sense without the blue, its gamepad, a lot more hardcore, need the red (but also some blue, wherever it blends well with the new control. Finally, only showing more commitment Ninty can persuade more third parties, why should they believe in something Ninty itself is showing it doesn't?

Edit: about games choice, I'm not an expert in Ninty gamers tastes, but I guess the proposed range should include all the classics without overmilking them and new IPs chosen according to the tastes of a wide range of gamers.
