I'm annoyed at that. All they are doing is admiting defeat without even trying.

Support the Vita the way Nintendo supported the 3DS last year and you got a sucess instead of a mediocre performance.
Put on it Gran Turismo, God of War, Legend of Dragoon 2, a side story of The last of us and a new Uncharted and tada... your failure becomes a sucess. But, you dont want to take that risk. Very well... i will live with ever increasing in quality indie games and japanese localisation, but the damage done to the Playstation brand in my eyes will not go away.
I wont be purchasing a Playstation product so easily anymore, unless i see some commitment for the Vita.

wut?

I know where you're coming from. I like the Vita and I would love to see more support for it, but we're not living in some kind of dreamland. Sony/SCE is a business based in reality and in reality the financial situation of Sony is quite dire and investments need to pay off. What you're suggesting would cost a ton of money, barely change the sales trajectory of the Vita, most likely not pay off and risk the success of the PS4 by eating up valuable resources.

As much as it sucks from a gamers point of view, businesswise it's probably the right choice to "ride it out" with minimal investment, while trying to get at least some money out of a failed product.

So you say, but it seems to have worked with the 3DS. Also Vita games are not as costly to develop as PS3 and PS4.

The PS4 is also quite healthy, it doesnt need a full change of focus from all things Vita.It was/is in Sony's hands to change the situation of the Vita. As a customer, i have a right to not be happy with what they are doing and reflect it on my future purchases.

I am also not a charity.
