Ok I recently am in the market for an mp3 player, an actual dedicated one seperate from my phone (A Gaslaxy S 3), and can only conclude there's no sense getting any other than a Lumia 520.
It's only $59 at Wal Mart for crying out loud! The dedicated MP3 player they had was like 29 bucks and still a complete piece of garbage compared to a 520 (very tiny postage stamp size screen, cheap, not even 1/1000 as versatile as a true smartphone is, doubt it even had bluetooth or wifi, etc).
OK fine if you're a jogger or something maybe one of those ipod shuffles is better, but that's about it...
And the 520 can act as a backup phone, can play youtubes and videos, etc etc. There's really no contest.
Even a regular iPod is $200. And that is vastly overpriced compared to a 520 unless you absolutely must have certain Apple apps or something.
Edit: for those who dont know, the Nokia Lumia 520 is a low end but fully functional off contract Windows Phone smartphone. It has a 4" screen.
