They are making a new IP though, they have (or will soon have) two big teams.
Stig's team making the new IP (2015) and Cory's making GoW4 (2016/2017). Win-win.
The new IP will be announced this year and GoW4 will be announced next year to celebrate the series reach 10 years old.
I hope they keep Kratos but just calm him down a bit and introduce Eygptian mythology, imagine all the new enemies, enviorments, weapons and how good it will all look, sound and play...
