Seriously though, I have a Wii U, and I like it quite a lot. In fact, I went with the Wii U when they released the WW HD pack, instead of waiting and get a PS4 or XBO at launch. And I'm a Sony guy when it comes to hardware.
That being said, as much as I enjoy the console, there are valid criticism to be made about it and the way Nintendo is handling it so far. It's not hating to pinpoint and complain about those issues. I've been a fan of Nintendo since the NES days. In fact, I've enjoyed their games since the Atari/Colecovision era, with the original Donkey Kong games. I don't count the hours I spent playing each Super Mario Bros. games, Metroid, every Zelda games, DKC, etc... Their franchises have had a soft spot in my gaming history and they continue to do so to this day.
But the Wii U has its problems, no one can deny that. ListerOfSmeg is not providing anything to the discussion by doing his typical act of complaining and calling "HATERS!!!" any people who voice their issues about the current state of Nintendo.
Nintendo needs to overhaul the way they market the console. They need to secure/release content that caters to a wider demographic (not just the hardcore fans, like it's been so far for the U). They need to improve the performance of their OS. It has 1GB of RAM reserved for it, and it's still running 'effin slow. It shouldn't take that long to get into your friends list, for example. And really... Why can't we chat (text or voice) between us, anytime? I love Miiverse, but what's the point of having a friends list, if all you can do is comment on some random stuff they post on Miiverse? Make us feel connected between our friends, dammit!
In any case, to reiterate, unlike what Smeagol thinks, it's not automatically hating on something if you voice a negative opinion about some aspects of a product or company.
