There is a subtlety in words.
If I said "Sandy Lanes is a runner, Usain bolt is a machine", it would be because I'm referring to his characteristics of being so on point and relentless, not that I'm calling him a machine, and not that UB isn't a runner.
I don't need to learn anything. You need to open your ears and stop being "clever".
I call the wii a toy because of the implications not the definitions. Something for children...less sophisticated...a diversion. The implication has everything to do with perspective. Some people perceive ALL games as toys...some people think only little cars and action figures are toys...just because a definition is tied to a word, doesn't mean that we are suddenly no longer able to use figures of speech. The two go hand in hand. It's up to someone who is WILLING to understand to make the connection. Naturally, it will appear strange to someone with a closed mind.
EDIT: And in reverse; I also sprint and can do it pretty fast, but I'm no UB. I might say, "I am a pedestrian, Usain Bolt is a runner". You see, it's all about perspective.
