I really don't prefer large maps and more than 12 players. At some point you just begin to feel completely insignificant to the outcome of the game. in a 32 v 32 player battle you can go 25-2 or 2-25 and have absolutely no impact on winning or losing. I like knowing that when I have a great game and my team wins that I carried those scrubs because I'm the champ! I also feel more shame when I have a hideous score, but that's life!
Plus, it usually just seems like a massive clusterfuck when you have 32-64 players in one game..
