Disc scratching issues are primerally about nitwits who insist that consoles should be able to be passed from the vertical to the horizontal (or visa versa) whilst it's spinning a DVD at 12x speed and NOT expecting it to warp. Haven't you ever played with a gyro as a kid or a bicycle wheel?
It's a lot easier to be righteous than right.
