"sold" is the right verbage to use on twitter because everyone knows the difference in context due to the high level of education and experience on the matter so no one in the media or public could possibly be duped and MS didn't at all take advantage of the situation to be intentionally deceptive to create FUD that makes it look like xbone isn't at all trailing the ps4.

Very wrong.  And it's not like Greenburg later tweeted, "Yes, it is shipped, but that is sold to us."  Nope, just said sold was the right terminology and left it at that.  He knows barely anyone in the general gaming crowd knows the difference, so this creates a false situation where they PS4 is only ~200K ahead, instead of the 1.2M+ (as of Jan 1st) reality.
