To be fair, if the decision was made in 2012 and obviously the main market is USA then forecasts of Xb dominance would have been very reasonable based on current info. But then I think a good lesson is not to forecast nextgen before nextgen details are officially out in public. I bet MS also had EA salivating over their DRM policy as well, and we all know how that turned out.
