No, people were dead serious about Kinect spying, MS being anti-consumer not wanting us to own anything, etc.  Stop downplaying it now that's it's past.

Nobody is even talking about it.  That's the point.  There's more discussion about the differences between the PS4 and XBO versions of Tomb Raider right now than stuff like this.

So what, I take it you're one of those that thinks these purchases are completely harmless and there's nothing to be worried about then, eh?

People who were concerned about their privacy because of kinect are complete idiots swept away by the usual media scare.

And yes I'm not worried in the least about these purchases. Google buys a lot of stuff. But of course in the eyes of someone like you robots and their AI can only be used for evil. And of course would google only have world domination in mind.

I think you shouldn't be worried about the open purchases google makes but rather the stuff that google does that you don't know ;)
