Without a doubt. The point of gears is to show off just how kickass the Unreal engine is.
With the Ps4 being the more powerful system it not only would of likely got gears... but could of got it exclusvily. Probably more likely then not. Keep an eye on the next epic showcase game.
360 got gears because the PS3's design with the cell was all loopy compaired to the computer based hardware source engine was developed on/for. Making the 360 the better showcase piece.
Quite honestly, epic probably hardly cares how it's games sell.
