Zelda oot was a 15 year old HD port and was the tipping point for 3DS success.
There was a Dragon Quest port of an old game for 3DS as i remember and it sold very good.
Mario2D was somehow recycled from the 3ds version but you call it big gun?well than Monster Hunter is.
just port the 3 year old monster Hunter game on vita and it'll become the best selling vita game 24 hours after release.
Wii fit was a big gun on Wii u no longer.
I think there are only two big guns left:no matter how wether i am wrong or right.That's mario cart and ssmb.
Nintendo is still making one huge mistake again and again and again.The same mistake Sony did with uncharted on vita.
They are releasing IP's for Wii u that have already been released for 3DS.The momentum for this game has already gone.
A Ninzendo Fan who can chose to buy mario cart for Wii U or a new game for 3DS will buy a new 3DS game.
If he wants to play mario cart on Wii U he has to pay 300 bucks(console+game)and he will jist get a game he already has been playing all the time
If he wants to play mario cart on 3DS he has topay 0 as he already has this game.He will use the 300 bucks to buy 7 new 3ds games.
If you release all the great ip's first on 3DS you'll subvert the Wii U.Nintendo must stop favouring 3DS and start releasing big guns first for WiiU and not treat it like the reddeaded stepchild
