Well.Achievements/trophies could be a tipping point wether to play an old game again or not.
As i've already played those games without trophies i'd only play them again if i had to chose wether to play a new mid class game or an good old game once again.
I'd already bought a Wii U if there were achievements/trophies as nintendo games are most motivating to finish them 100%.Indeed i started hunting "trophies" before they existed with donkey kong countries 101% because such things can be very motivating and make you double gameplay time as long they are not stupid.
btw I'm no trpohy whore.I don't care how many trophies or achievements i have nor have i ever shown someone my trophie/achievements list and never will. But certain trophies(for finishing games or rare trophies) is something i really wanted long before trophies existed.(i use them as some kind og gaming diary)
btw-why is it 100% alright and motivating to get a star in Mario for finishing a level but a bad thing to get a trophy for finishing that level.
Achievements/trophies do no harm and can be ignored without problems.Whats so bad about them.
