Attention, digital marksmen, swordsmen and kickers of balls! EA is throwing another Xbox Live Marketplace sale, offering reductions of up to 75 per cent. You might want to pay particular attention to Battlefield 1943, if you're weary of the fourth game's charmless grit - this is first-person militarising at its most colourful and contagious.
I'd also recommend Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a flawed but decent open world RPG that will probably, alas, never receive the sequel it deserves. Anything else take your fancy?
