The game is a dark game. So yes it isn't as colurful but this isn't a thread about the best looking it is about the best graphics. As I said the best looking game last gen IMO is Windwaker but that game is not as taxing as RE4.
It is like WoW and EQ2. I think WoW looks better but EQ2 is more taxing technically. Got admit though Iam a sucker for the water effects in EQ2.
