just checked. you call this effort? its 69 on metacritic and released in 2010. This is not Nintendo quality.

However, More games like this but with high quality would help.

Same devs as Xenoblade. That's what you get when you put a team that is good at doing A to do C. Have Polyphony Digital do a shooter and let's see what we get.

Anyway, if bad sales of mediocre ports are enough for third parties to stop support, a mediocre realistic and mature game selling 60K is enough to stop trying.

The audience for those games isn't there and fighting over it isn't worth the money.

ANd what is wrong with having a few new developers working on games like that. Why must they use Monolith.

From your point, its like Nintendo just love to stick to their comfort zone and fail to put effort into trying new things.

Refer to Marioboy2004's post. Goldeneye was awesome and exclusive to N64

No. They must do new things, but not the things everybody else is making. Nobody who likes M-rated games (or a very small amount of them) is going to pick up a Nintendo console to play the 2-3 games Nintendo would make, specially when those games rain 24/7 on the PS and Xbox.

Not a very good idea when said games are expensive to make.

Goldeneye was made 17 years ago, when FPS were scarce on the dominant console (PS1), probably because the default PS1 controller didn't have analog sticks. Things have changed a lot since then.
