There's two sides to this Hollywood "racial" story. From another point of view, Hollywood is getting better. It's becoming much more international of a business. Especially for those who work behind the camera.

As a person who is half white..I am fed up of how people of different races are only getting roles of their stereotype. For example if you were to see a hollywood highschool movie you would imagine that majority of the people going to highschool in North America would be white (and that too by a large margin). However in almost any highscool in a suburban area you would see that there are just as many black, asian, brown students as there are white. Contrary to what films such as American pie, Superbad, 21 jumpstreet, and almost every highschool movie you have ever seen has told you. There are tons of actors who are out there who have the looks and the talent to be a major hollywood actor but most are denied due to their race.

That being said Hollywood has come a long way to including actors of different races in hollywood movies. The 70's to 90's being dominated by movies with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce lee, Ben Kingsly etc. And now movies such as Slumdog millionaire and Life of Pi putting on a good show at the oscars and the box office. Also many blacks and Latino's being the highest paid actors and actresses.

Still when it comes to non white actors hollywood has been a let down most of the time not giving roles to actors that are mostly brown and asian and making you believe that they look like this:

When infact mainstream bollywood stars look far better than Hollywood stars. For example:
