Not really. Halo is junk without Bungie, and Halo was 10 times as popular as Gears. You can't just buy the name and characters and switch devs. It doesn't work. Ask Crash lol.

Compared to Halo 3? That's a MASSIVE drop. Take a look at the install base in 2007. Now look at what it was when Halo 4 launched. The number are staggering. Plus, people fled Halo 4's MP pretty quickly.

ODST is from Bungie as well, and compared to Halo 3, there is an even bigger gap than from 4 to 3.
