I have pretty high hopes. It won't be the greatest Final Fantasy of all time, but it'll get good reception and breath new life into the franchise, saving it from demise. As things are headed now, if XV doesn't get good reception and sales, I see XV being the last entry on consoles, and the last FF recognizable by original fans of the franchise. But I don't think that will happen. XV will do reasonably well, and will be the beginning of a new era of Final Fantasy as a leader in great RPGs.
