I normally love to cook but have been real lazy the last 4-5 months.. There are lots of simple dishes that are just great, and some real good comfort home food isn't all that hard. Like a good meatloaf is simple as hell, but man does it ever taste good, especially with a side of mashed. The hardest thing with cooking is judging how cooked it is, and when its getting a bit over done, but with meat thermometers these days it makes is much simpler, and you can also cut into the meat to check. Although this allows the juices to escape.
as said before, the internet has taken alot of guess work out of it. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of recipes online for every ethnicity you can think of.
