Microsoft acquired Gears of War rights. Black Tusk to develop the games

Bold - and probably smart - move by MS. Depending on how much they paid, of course. But part of me thinks GoW was such a success because it was new and fresh. I'd almost rather they spent the cash on a fresh new idea, a GoW for the new generation.
