This is the reason I bought the Sony console this generation. Sony focuses on creating new IP and they create new studios, Microsoft tend to recycle what is successful in hopes of making a little more money.

Please don't make it personal, I only meant that I chose the PlayStation because I like the variety that Sony offers. The Xbox is a perfectly viable option for gaming too, and yes there will be some new IP, but I don't think will be as much variety. As to my next exclusive I intend to try out Basement Crawl, but yes I will be picking up inFamous: Second Son, is that a bad thing? 


You made it personal when you put "I" in your post. I never said buying Second Son is a bad thing, just don't try to make it seem like Sony is being completely new while MS milks every franchise. Both have fanbases that want new and old games.

Ah right, I see your point regarding inFamous and agree, Sony are also remaking some of their IP. Although surely you can agree that Sony releases a greater diversity of games? It doesn't make it better, it just makes it better suited to me.
