I voted The Witcher 3.
I think it could have been Thief, but the wait has been so long, expectations skyrocketed, and then came the news that basically they focused more on fancy graphics and acrobatics, used more cinematics, that in this series should actually have very little place, only in mission introductions and aftermaths and in very few cutscenes, where strictly needed for the plot, watered down the gameplay and were even considering adding an RPG-like character growth, then luckily removed by popular demand, that would have totally derailed it from its essence. So now, while I still hope it won't be a bad game, I also fear it will be slightly disappointing compared to the expectations for it.
