I still remember the day when Hulk hogan turned back into yellow and red... the screams I heard from the staduim still gives me gossebumbs

I know this is off topic but it's a wrestling discussion so I don't think anyone will care:  not long ago, I had a discussion (argument) with someone on another forum about how popular Hogan was in his prime.  I said that I thought he was the second most important figure in wrestling in the modern era behind Vince McMahon.  It seems this guy was a big Stone Cold fan, so he took exception, which if fine, except he started saying that Hogan was never all that big or important to begin with.  I was in absolute disbelief.  I remember when Hulkamania blew up.  The WWF came out of nowhere because of that.  Suddenly kids were wearing wrestling tshirts and playing with wrestling action figures, something which had never happened before.  Hulk Hogan was EVERYWHERE.

I can understand people not liking Hogan--I, myself, was an NWA fan--but I have no idea how anyone can dispute his impact on professional wrestling.

On topic, relative to Daniel Bryan, I wonder when the WWE will understand that the fans care more about being entertained with a bloody good match than about the performers being "larger than life" body-builders.
