Even GTA expansion packs have delivered upon offering open world action game players lots of game play hours.
A better argument could be made that Final Fantasy series is over rated. Final Fantasy series over the last 10 years has been in free fall in regards to sales, the quality and standards of the game series has fallen. Final Fantasy developers Square-Enix have even resorted to releasing the old games from 15 to 20+ years on portables and via digital downloads on console networks.
