I honestly think VitaTV would make more sense in the west at this point. They already have a handheld which isn't selling for shit; it's just an unappealing device in today's market.
A slightly slimmer, smaller model isn't going to change that.
VitaTV has the potential to be a bit more competitive should they handle it right (which they won't but still).
That said, I fully expect this announcement to be Vita 2000.
